Kyle recently had the opportunity to fill in for the Sonmen Quartet during their Sunday morning worship service at Landmark Baptist Church in Cincinnati. Kyle stood in for Jeff Perkins on both piano and baritone vocals. Also filling in for Jeff’s son, bass singer Aaron Perkins, was none other than Kyle’s brother, Darrell!!
The Sonmen are based in Mason, OH, and perform numerous dates throughout the year. Kyle’s other brother (and Darrell’s twin), Dale, sings tenor for the group, which also includes Mike Botts on lead, as well as Jeff and Aaron.

Kyle has recently joined the Mount Washington Presbyterian Church’s Saturday afternoon worship service, known as ConnXions. He will be playing drums and providing vocals for the service, which is run by long-time friend, Chuck Land.
Be sure to check the schedule to see which days Kyle will be playing. You can find out more about Mount Washington Presbyterian Church and the ConnXions service here.

Kyle has been in the studio working on a brand new project, his first solo album in 4 years. He is working with long-time friend, Nick Giese, as co-producer, and the sessions will include some of Kyle’s many friends in the music industry.
“This project really is a labor of love, as cliche as it sounds,” says Kyle. “This is the first time that I’ve worked with such talented musicians that I not only admire and respect, but also greatly enjoy working with.”
The as-yet-untitled project is projected to be released this fall from Noteworthy Productions, an imprint of Wavemakers Media.
